Syphoria had been caring for the egg at the end of the Kanto Festival, keeping it in the incubator she borrowed from Spark and taking it everywhere with her. And that meant everywhere, even running around with the newest members of the team. So when Pixie chirped at her trainer to get her attention, the mismatched eyes of the breeders went wide.

There were....cracks in the egg shell.

“...SPARK!!!”

She called out for the leader and picked up the incubator, quickly carrying it to find him. He had to see just what would hatch out of the egg.

“Wonder what’s inside this egg.”

She’s looking at the incubator with the big 12km egg she found during the tour, both Pixie and the newest addition, a shiny Lickitung, staring at it.

“While I was rushing back to base to get an incubator, this uhhh....little gal followed me.”

Cue a shiny Lickitung just vibing with her tongue hanging out. “Licki!!!”

“C’mon Pixie, lets head off this way. Can’t be left behind by the group!” She called, having been helping out new teammates while they were on the Kanto Tour. Though she blinked with not seeing her furry companion return. Pixie always came back when she called...

So she reassured the group she’ll be back and rushed to find her, only to see the tiny shiny Vulpix...curled up around an abandoned egg.

“Hm? Is this why you didn’t run back to me?” “Vull....” Pixie whined as the breeder knelt down, feeling that the egg was a bit cold to the touch. “This isn’t good.” She murmured and took off her Team Instinct coat, wrapping it around the egg and gently picking it up.

“Looks like we’ll be all sorts of busy for the Kanto Tour this weekend huh? We’ve got lots of things to do to help Spark out!”

Syphoria couldn’t help but squeal in utter delight at the sight of the Goomy being handed to her, gently taking her into her arms. Awww, what an absolute cutie, and she was just going to cuddle this gooey little baby close. “Thank you Spark! I think I’ll name her Smoothie!”
